KLA is hiring a Lead Embedded Software Engineer for its RAPID division to design, develop, and sustain complex embedded software and firmware for semiconductor reticle inspection systems. The role leads real-time machine-control software, system architecture, hardware interfaces, data acquisition, image processing, testing, troubleshooting, project planning, and technical mentorship. Candidates need an MS in a relevant engineering or computer science field, at least 8 years of industrial embedded software experience, strong C/C++ and Linux/RTOS skills, and experience with motion and real-time control systems. The position is based in Milpitas, California, with a base pay range of $159,500 to $271,200 annually.
