L3Harris Technologies is hiring a Lead Embedded Software Engineer for its Space and Mission Systems group in Wilmington, Massachusetts to develop real-time embedded flight software for space-based imaging payloads and other aerospace applications. The role covers the full software lifecycle from requirements and design through coding, testing, integration, mission support, and documentation, with work involving RTOS-based embedded development, simulations, command-and-control interfaces, and embedded hardware/software integration. Candidates need substantial prior experience in embedded software and aerospace systems, a relevant bachelor’s or graduate degree (or equivalent experience), and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
