Description
Nexamp is hiring a Lead Energy Storage Engineer to serve as a technical subject matter expert for utility-scale and distributed battery energy storage projects. The role covers system design, safety, code compliance, technical due diligence, vendor evaluation, procurement, permitting, reliability, and long-term asset management, working cross-functionally with development, engineering, construction, asset management, procurement, and external stakeholders. It is a hybrid position based in Boston, Chicago, New York, or Washington, DC, requiring 7+ years of related experience including at least 5 years in battery energy storage systems, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, and familiarity with lithium-ion technologies and energy storage safety standards.
