Description
The Lead Engineer AI Developer Platform will own the architecture, technical direction, and hands-on development of the firm’s internal AI-powered developer platform, AI Dev Kit. The role is responsible for setting patterns and standards, shipping high-impact platform features, maintaining reliability and observability, evaluating AI models and agent patterns, leading code reviews and incident response, and influencing application-team contributors. It requires extensive enterprise software engineering experience, at least two years with large language models or agentic systems, strong Python and Node.js/TypeScript skills, cross-platform engineering experience, and technical leadership in a regulated financial-services environment. The position is hybrid in St. Petersburg, Florida, with a stated wage range of $80–$100 per hour.
