Westpac is hiring a Lead Software Engineer for its Appian Workflow Platforms team in Sydney, Australia. The role leads the design, development, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale workflow solutions on the Appian platform, integrates legacy and cloud-based systems, and provides technical leadership to development teams. It requires 7+ years of software engineering experience, 3-5+ years of Appian experience at a lead or technical lead level, strong solution design and integration skills, and experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery. The position is hybrid, requiring two to three days per week in the office, and is open to candidates from other Australian locations.
