Apex Engineering Group is hiring a Lead Engineer to manage municipal engineering projects from planning through design and construction, including civil design, specifications, construction administration, project management, client communication, proposal preparation, and business development. The role leads engineers, technicians, and support staff, coordinates multidisciplinary teams, and may require travel, overtime, and outdoor work during construction season. Candidates need a civil engineering bachelor's degree, a professional engineer license or ability to obtain one within 6–12 months, at least seven years of municipal civil engineering experience, and strong project and construction management skills. The position is based in designated North Dakota or Minnesota offices and offers a base salary of $95,000 to $130,000 plus benefits.
