Description
The Lead Engineer (back-end) will line-manage a small team of 3–5 engineers while remaining an active individual contributor, leading the technical direction of Scenario Builder’s back-end services and infrastructure. The role owns Python and FastAPI development, RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring, code quality, architecture, and technical leadership, while collaborating with product, data engineering, and modelling teams. It is a hybrid position based in the London office near Waterloo Station and reports to the Head of Platform.
