The role coordinates with engineering and operations teams, commissions substation equipment and controls systems, supports reliability and preventive maintenance, evaluates system failures, and may supervise engineers and act as a Project Manager. It requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline, 8–10 years of utility distribution or transmission engineering experience, and a valid Connecticut or Massachusetts driver’s license.
