Wabtec is hiring a Lead Engineer – Controls Engineering to develop concepts and design requirements for energy-management applications on locomotives. The role leads system and subsystem design, interfaces, validation plans, technical reviews, risk mitigation, and engineering estimates, while collaborating with software, QA, systems, and product teams. Candidates must work from an office in Bangalore, India, and have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, 6–9 years of technical leadership experience across locomotive, automotive, or aerospace product lines, and at least 5 years of embedded systems design and implementation experience.
