Description
Wabtec is hiring a Lead Engineer to design, develop, and validate inverter control electronics for traction and auxiliary systems in locomotives and off-highway vehicles. The role owns control-panel hardware from requirements through validation, collaborates with firmware, software, power electronics, systems, and test teams, and supports bring-up, integration, troubleshooting, verification, failure analysis, reliability and safety analyses, and design-for-manufacture and design-for-test activities. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, or a related engineering field, at least four years of control hardware or power electronics experience, and knowledge of embedded software fundamentals.
