Wabtec is hiring a Lead Engineer to design, develop, and validate C and C++ embedded software for power-electronics drive controllers used in locomotives and off-highway mining trucks. The role leads application requirements, system architecture, control algorithms, FPGA and processor implementations, integration, reliability analysis, and validation activities, while providing technical and organizational leadership. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related field, at least four years of electric-drive control software experience, and strong C/C++ and embedded-systems expertise. The stated base salary is $71,500–$98,100.
