Description
Wabtec is seeking an ATE/BTE Hardware Engineer to design, develop, build, validate, and verify automated and bench test equipment for multiple projects. The role leads electrical, instrumentation, and controls design; prepares requirements, specifications, test plans, procedures, and documentation; interfaces with mechanical, software, and V&V teams; and creates schematics, IO definitions, wire schedules, cable selections, pinouts, and P&ID drawings. Candidates need a BTech/BE in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechatronics, at least 6 years of experience, ATE/BTE design and development experience, and proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD, Altium, OrCAD, EPLAN, LabVIEW, and embedded C/C#/Python/CVI.
