Wabtec is hiring a Packaging Engineer for its Control Electronics team to design and validate mechanical enclosures for power and control electronic products used in locomotives and surface mining trucks. The role integrates PCBs, interconnects, and discrete components; performs thermal, stress, and structural analysis; supports manufacturing, vendor selection, PPAP, and product qualification; and requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, at least three years of packaging design experience, and strong CAD and simulation skills. The base salary is $62,100–$85,300, with health, welfare, retirement, and possible relocation assistance.
