Description
Leap is hiring a FinTech Engineering Lead to lead a five- to six-person lending and payment engineering team while remaining hands-on in production code. The role owns critical lending and payment systems, the new fintech platform, API integrations, data models, compliance, reconciliation, and the migration path between legacy and new implementations. It requires 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years at senior or above, full-stack TypeScript expertise, experience with financial APIs and regulated systems, and the ability to work with autonomous agents. The position requires US authorization and Eastern time-zone availability, offers $180,000–$200,000 USD, and includes health and wellness coverage, a 401(k) match, paid time off, and other benefits.
