Description
The Fire & Gas and Fire Protection Engineer develops fire and gas philosophies, detector layouts, hazardous-area classifications, suppression-system designs, hydraulic calculations, schematics, P&IDs, and installation details. The role coordinates with DCS, ESD, PLC, HVAC, structural, and mechanical teams; supports HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, procurement, FAT, SAT, vendor reviews, model reviews, fabrication, installation, and commissioning; and prepares engineering deliverables. It requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, 8–15 years of relevant experience, at least 5 years on offshore, marine, FPSO, oil and gas, or E-House projects, and mandatory experience with clean-agent and inergen suppression systems.
