Description
Eversource is seeking a Lead Engineer, Level 1 to lead the development, expansion, planning, design, maintenance, and operation of transmission and distribution systems and equipment. The role includes reliability analysis, life-cycle planning, preliminary engineering design, equipment selection, root-cause analysis, standards development, technical direction, and mentoring of other engineers. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and five to eight years of substation engineering or related electric utility experience. The position is regular, offers a hybrid schedule requiring at least three office days, and requires travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire, emergency restoration availability, and a valid motor vehicle operator’s license. The annual salary range is $129,450.00-$143,830.00, with potential incentive eligibility.
