Wabtec is hiring a Senior Software Engineer focused on IV&V for locomotive control software in Contagem, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The role leads test strategies across HITL, MITL, and real locomotive environments; develops test plans, procedures, automation scripts, and defect-tracking workflows; validates system performance against requirements; and collaborates with engineering, software, lab, and external teams. The position requires a degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering, extensive design, testing, or validation experience, and knowledge of control systems and communication protocols. It is fully onsite, with less than 25% travel, and includes medical, dental, and other employee benefits.
