Description
Wabtec is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support Transit Engineering product design and development. The role covers concept development, detailed design, 3D modeling, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, FEA analysis, test planning, design validation, supplier coordination, and engineering change management. The engineer will work with cross-functional teams and global suppliers, apply GD&T, welding, materials, and manufacturing knowledge, and provide technical guidance to peers. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering and at least eight years of experience in mechanical design for industrial products or heavy engineering applications are required.
