Description
Wabtec is hiring a Lead Engineer – Mechanical Test Engineer to define and execute mechanical component and subsystem tests, develop test facilities and fixtures, coordinate with engineering, suppliers, external labs, and cross-functional teams, and manage field and laboratory test execution, data processing, reporting, and equipment calibration. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, at least eight years of experience in mechanical design, development, and validation, and expertise in mechanical testing, reliability analysis, instrumentation, and data acquisition.
