Description
The Boeing Company is hiring Lead Design Engineers for its Payload Systems Design organization supporting the Boeing Commercial Aircraft 787 Program in North Charleston, South Carolina. The role leads technical strategy and engineering execution across requirements, development, certification, production, and post-production; provides technical leadership to customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders; manages engineering work statements; ensures compliance with FAA/EASA and customer requirements; and leads design reviews, configuration management, change control, and release processes. The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years of relevant aerospace or related engineering experience, with preferred qualifications including multi-disciplinary team leadership, FAA/EASA knowledge, commercial aircraft interiors, and systems engineering experience. The listed pay ranges are $103,700–$140,300 for the Experienced Level 3 and $126,650–$171,350 for the Senior Level 4, with health insurance and other benefits available to eligible employees.
