Description

Baker Hughes is seeking a Lead Engineer, Product Design and Engineering - Automation Control Software to drive innovation in subsea control systems. This role involves leading software projects, developing and maintaining PLC and SCADA applications, collaborating with global engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong automation experience, particularly in PLC and HMI/SCADA technologies like Twincat Soft PLC and Ignition SCADA, along with expertise in industrial communication protocols.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Science-based discipline, or possess equivalent experience.
Required Previous Experiences: automation experience with strong expertise in PLC and HMI/SCADA technologies (Twincat Soft PLC and Ignition SCADA preferred)
hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP, CAN, Ethernet UDP, and OPC UA.
solid knowledge of object-oriented design principles and modern software development methodologies.
deep understanding of software development processes, with a track record of driving quality and process improvements.
proven experience delivering small-scale engineering or automation projects.
