Description
The Lead Engineer serves as the senior technical lead for Central Plant and building engineering operations, reporting to the Chief Engineer. The role oversees boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, compressors, generators, and other critical mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and utility systems; leads engineering and maintenance staff; performs troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, emergency response, safety compliance, and operational improvements; and assumes the Chief Engineer’s responsibilities during absences. The position requires U.S. citizenship, a Secret clearance, at least five years of engineering services experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and a 3rd Class Steam and Hot Water Boiler Engineer License (DC).
