Description
Mastercard is hiring a Lead Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering to lead reliability, observability, capacity, incident response, and infrastructure automation for its Payments Network. The role owns end-to-end service quality, root-cause analysis, dashboards, remediation strategies, disaster-recovery testing, vendor upgrade validation, and training, while partnering with Product and Development teams. It requires 5–10 years of SRE or related operations experience, including at least 3 years supporting e-commerce, financial services, or large-scale SaaS platforms, along with strong networking, packet-debugging, infrastructure-as-code, and observability expertise. The role includes periodic on-call responsibilities.
