Eversource is hiring one Lead Engineer to lead the development, design, maintenance, operation, and reliability management of transmission and distribution systems, including substation engineering, battery energy storage and solar interconnects, distributed energy resource reviews, and the organization’s Life Cycle Plan. The role supervises at least two full-time engineers, approves performance reviews, coordinates emergency and unplanned maintenance, and may require travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required, with electrical engineering preferred, along with at least eight years of experience in the electrical utility industry; supervisory experience is preferred. The position offers a hybrid schedule requiring at least three office days per week and pays $145,670 to $161,860 annually, with potential incentives.
