LaBella is hiring a Lead Engineer - Substations for its Program Management Services Division, working at a client’s office in an engineering leadership role. The position oversees substation project engineering across scoping, budgeting, design, construction, and closeout; performs engineering analyses and calculations; leads conceptual designs under Avangrid standards; reviews external detailed design work; ensures compliance with applicable codes and standards; provides technical leadership and mentorship; directs contractors; and works independently. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology, a Professional Engineer (PE) license, and 5–10 years of engineering experience in the functional area. Salary is $75,000–$120,000, with health and dental insurance and additional benefits.
