Description
SF State is hiring a full-time, one-year probationary Lead Engineer to supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance and repair across a campus. The role leads HVAC, central plant, plumbing, and related MEP operations; schedules and prioritizes work; coordinates contractors and emergency responses; provides on-the-job training; and supports budgeting, safety, and project planning. Applicants need journey-level mechanical or HVAC trade skills, lead-work experience, knowledge of HVAC systems and safety codes, and a valid California driver’s license. The position is on-site in San Francisco, with occasional telework possible, and pays $7,497–$8,277 per month.
