TerraPower is hiring a Lead Engineer, System Design to support the Natrium Demonstration Project and the design and delivery of its primary reactor systems, including heat transport, reactivity control, and fuel and coolant containment. The role leads multidisciplinary system requirements, mechanical and nuclear system design, architecture documentation, equipment design bases, supplier interfaces, engineering changes, licensing support, and design reviews. Candidates need a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, at least 10 years of relevant experience, and expertise in complex-system design, configuration management, and nuclear or high-temperature pressure-vessel systems. The position offers a Washington State salary of $131,828–$171,206 and medical, vision, dental, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
