Description
Rocket Lab is seeking a Lead Engineer, Tooling Design and Support for its Tooling, Test, and Infrastructure team at the Space Structures Complex production facility in Middle River, Maryland. The role leads a team responsible for tooling, ground support equipment, and test support for the Neutron launch vehicle, coordinating with structures, facilities, operations, and other stakeholders to improve production scale-up, manufacturing readiness, design for manufacture/test, training, and project planning. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, 5+ years of engineering design experience, and leadership experience, with preferred experience in large tooling/structures design, Siemens NX/Teamcenter, manufacturing processes, structural analysis, and interpreting P&IDs and wiring diagrams.
