GHD is hiring a Lead Engineer – Water Infrastructure Strategic Planning to join its New Zealand and Pacific water team in Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington, with flexibility to work from other GHD offices. The role focuses on front-end strategy for stormwater, water supply, and wastewater infrastructure, influencing business cases, investment priorities, and long-term outcomes while partnering with clients, collaborating across GHD’s global network, and mentoring team members. It requires at least 15 years of water infrastructure planning and strategy experience, with project delivery and implementation experience preferred, along with strong systems thinking, stakeholder experience, commercial ability, and clear communication. The position follows a hybrid model requiring three days per week in the office.
