HR Green is hiring a Lead Engineer for its Water and Wastewater Practice in Melbourne, Florida. The role leads municipal water and wastewater engineering projects from planning and permitting through design, bidding, construction administration, and project closeout; supports project management; conducts technical reviews; makes design decisions; prepares cost estimates and proposals; and mentors junior engineers. The position requires a civil or environmental engineering degree, a Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain one within six months, at least 10 years of water and wastewater system design experience, engineering software proficiency, strong communication skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel for site visits and client meetings.
