Description
The Lead Engineering Technician (Machinery Control Systems) will troubleshoot, repair, install, test, and upgrade shipboard control-system hardware and software in Philadelphia. The role requires extensive Navy or Coast Guard experience, strong electrical troubleshooting and machinery-control computer skills, technical leadership, and significant shipyard or waterfront experience. Responsibilities include electrical and electronic equipment repair, software loading, PLC and firmware work, leading installation crews, conducting control-system testing, supporting control-panel fabrication, maintaining test equipment, and training ship's force and Regional Maintenance Center personnel.
