Apex Engineering Group is hiring an Environmental Planner to support transportation and water projects requiring NEPA documentation, environmental assessments, impact statements, public-agency coordination, permitting, wetland delineation, and mitigation. The role also involves business development, technical proposals, project pursuit, budgeting, staff hiring, and public communication. It is based at any listed Apex office or remotely within 100 miles of North Dakota offices, with in-person meetings and occasional travel required. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least five years of environmental planning and permitting experience, and offers a base salary of $90,000 to $130,000 plus benefits.
