Olsson is hiring a Lead Fire Protection Engineer for its South Facilities Engineering and Design team to lead fire protection design and execution for secure and mission-critical facilities, including hyperscale data centers. The role involves developing suppression, alarm, and life-safety system designs; serving as a technical expert and client liaison; coordinating with architects, MEP engineers, and security professionals; mentoring junior engineers; and supporting proposals and project scheduling. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in fire protection, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline, a Professional Engineer license, at least eight years of fire protection engineering experience, and at least four years supervising or mentoring technical personnel.
