Boston Engineering is hiring a full-time Lead Firmware Engineer for an office-based role in Waltham, Massachusetts. The position leads embedded and firmware systems, including RTOS-based development, hardware bring-up, device drivers, communication stacks, systems architecture, debugging, integration, manufacturing and production support, technical reviews, and engineering mentorship. It requires 7+ years of embedded or firmware development experience, including 3+ years in a senior or technical lead role, along with C/C++, Python, RTOS, MCU, and low-level interface experience. The base salary is $150,000 to $175,000 annually, with health insurance and other benefits.
