Description
Independence Tooling is hiring a Lead Fixture Builder to design, build, assemble, test, and repair precision fixtures, jigs, gauges, and tooling. The role interprets engineering drawings, CAD models, blueprints, and GD&T requirements; operates hand, power, and machining tools; performs precision fitting and functional testing; and manages fixture-build operations, scheduling, project coordination, and troubleshooting in a small-shop environment. The position requires at least one year of fixture or tool-building experience, prior assembly experience, blueprint-reading ability, and familiarity with automotive and aerospace tooling.
