AECOM is hiring a Lead Geotechnical Engineer in Oakland, California to lead geotechnical projects involving dams, pipelines, tunnels, levees, bridges, refineries, and building structures. The role includes project management, business development, technical leadership, engineering reporting, quality assurance, independent technical reviews, and mentoring junior staff. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree plus eight years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience, PE registration, and a valid driver’s license; California GE registration and additional geotechnical, water-resources, industrial, permitting, and OSHA experience are preferred. Relocation and possible sponsorship are available, and local client or site travel is required.
