Description
The client is hiring a Lead GNC Engineer – Flight Simulation for a 12-month W2 contract onsite in Chandler, Arizona. The role leads the design, development, verification, testing, and evaluation of guidance, navigation, and control systems and flight and simulation software for seeker-based missile engagements and precision intercept performance. Responsibilities include 6-DOF simulation architecture, algorithm design, performance assessments, trade studies, software optimization, and mentoring junior engineers. The position requires a Secret-level U.S. Government security clearance, a relevant engineering degree, and 3–5 years of professional experience depending on the degree, along with experience in aerospace or missile systems and proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C/C++, or similar tools in a Linux environment.
