Description
GE is hiring a Lead Electronic Hardware Engineer to lead electronic design and application engineering for HVDC converters and the HVDC Grid. The role covers digital and analogue circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection and qualification, bench and integration testing, EMC and environmental validation, firmware and software development, product lifecycle management, and technical leadership of small projects. The position is based at the HVDC Centre of Excellence in Stafford, with occasional international travel, and includes relocation assistance.
