Description
Relativity Space is hiring a Lead Avionics Controllers Hardware Engineer to lead a small team designing custom avionics controllers for the Terran R launch vehicle. The role covers controller design, board bring-up, verification, qualification, flight production, integration, and vehicle operations, with responsibility for engine control, fluid and tank pressurization, payload interfaces, and separation mechanisms. The engineer will work with propulsion, fluids, stage engineering, GNC, and other cross-functional teams and will mentor engineers, lead root-cause investigations, and drive rigorous engineering processes. The role requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering or a related field, at least five years of electronics design experience in harsh-environment, mission-critical applications, and expertise in mixed-signal and analog circuit design, control electronics, sensor interfacing, and reliability processes. Compensation is $151,000–$227,000 USD.
