The Lead Human Services Worker will lead and supervise staff at the Hartford Transitional House, a supervised residential program for men. The role includes monitoring resident activities, de-escalating conflicts, conducting searches and drug testing, maintaining safety and incident documentation, supporting resident and staff needs, and assuming operational responsibilities when the Residential Manager is absent. The position is a second shift from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Thursday through Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday off, pays $24.50 per hour, and requires a high school diploma or GED, three years of human services experience, residential experience, at least one year supervising staff, a valid Connecticut driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.
