Description
Obsidian Security is hiring a Lead IT Systems Engineer to own the company’s identity, endpoint, and IT platform foundation. The role serves as the senior technical owner of Okta, HRIS-to-Okta lifecycle orchestration, SSO application governance, configuration-as-code using Terraform and OpenTofu, endpoint management, zero-trust and secrets-management patterns, and AI-assisted IT operations. The engineer will report to the VP of Business Systems, Data & IT, partner with Security, DevOps, HR, Finance, and go-to-market teams, and lead a lean IT function. The position requires at least eight years of production IT systems, identity, or platform infrastructure experience, along with Okta, Jamf Pro, infrastructure-as-code, scripting, and MDM expertise. The base salary range is $203,000–$224,000 USD, with equity, 401(k), healthcare, dental, vision, paid time off, and family leave.
