Description
Citi is hiring a full-time Lead API & Microservice Integration Engineer to serve as the Java Spring Boot subject matter expert and integration architect for its AI Automation Forward Deployed Engineering team. The role designs and delivers API-first, secure, high-performance microservices; integrates enterprise systems, identity services, and third-party providers; exposes LLM inference, RAG, and agentic workflow endpoints; and establishes observability, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and API governance practices. The position requires 10+ years of backend and integration experience, including Java, Spring Boot, API design, enterprise integration, security, databases, containerization, and observability.
