Description
Citi is hiring a Vice President and Lead Engineer to lead a multi-year data transformation for its Oasys financial sub-ledger system. The role owns the technical vision and roadmap for migrating from Sybase IQ to a modern Big Data platform, including large-scale data processing pipelines, data migration, Java microservices integration, and hands-on architectural and coding contributions. The position also leads and mentors Java and Big Data engineers and partners with global business and technology stakeholders. Candidates need 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in technical leadership or architecture, along with expertise in Java, Big Data technologies, databases, and data warehousing.
