Description
The Java Developer will work in the Software Engineering group, applying full-lifecycle software development expertise to design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure production code. The role partners with stakeholders, QA, technology leads, architects, business analysts, and production management in an Agile environment, with onsite work five days per week in Jersey City, New Jersey or Chicago, Illinois for local candidates. Required qualifications include a BS/BA degree or equivalent experience, formal software engineering training or certification, 5+ years of applied experience, 8+ years of software development experience, and strong Java, database, Spring, SQL, and Agile experience. Preferred qualifications include cloud-native, container, microservices, Kafka, reactive programming, streaming, NoSQL, and banking or payments experience.
