Citi is hiring a Senior Java Lead to lead and actively contribute to the development of a global cheque payment platform. The role combines hands-on Java engineering, microservices and event-driven architecture, Kafka and database design, CI/CD and cloud-native delivery, performance and security engineering, and platform strategy. The lead will guide a scrum team, define engineering standards, modernize legacy systems, own SLAs and capacity planning, and communicate with senior business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, product, and finance stakeholders. The position is full time and offers a salary range of $145,100 to $217,700.
