Mastercard is seeking a Lead Mainframe Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and modernize enterprise mainframe applications supporting its payment ecosystem. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with people leadership, covering COBOL, JCL, CICS, IMS, DB2, MQ, TSO, production support, incident resolution, architecture, automation, security, and team development. The engineer will also influence mainframe modernization initiatives and collaborate with distributed systems, platform, infrastructure, product, and business teams.
