EverOps is hiring a remote Lead Kubernetes Platform Engineer to lead a two-month EKS modernization discovery and the subsequent modernization program for a high-scale consumer mobile platform. The role will baseline a multi-cluster production EKS estate, analyze blast radius and failure domains, design upgrade automation and a multi-cluster architecture, right-size compute, plan a phased Graviton migration, optimize Karpenter scheduling, model cloud costs, improve platform posture, reduce toil, and lead the embedded TechPod as a player-coach. The position requires 8+ years of DevOps, SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience, including 4+ years operating production Kubernetes, along with deep EKS, Karpenter, ARM64, Terraform, GitOps, and cloud cost-management expertise.
