The Wikimedia Foundation is hiring a Lead Learning Experience Designer to create accessible, culturally responsive, and engaging digital learning experiences for volunteers and contributors across the Wikimedia movement. The role involves partnering with product, community, research, and subject-matter teams; diagnosing capability gaps; designing courses, multimedia, interactive experiences, workshops, and embedded guidance; prototyping and iterating with modern authoring, multimedia, and AI tools; and evaluating effectiveness through feedback and analytics.
