Description
The Lead Managing Dental Assistant supports the dentist and Operations Leader in delivering patient care and managing a dental practice. Responsibilities include inventory and supply management, back-office clinical assistant supervision, equipment maintenance, patient postoperative care, emergency protocols, chairside assistance, radiography, sterilization, treatment coordination, payment collection, record entry, patient education, follow-up, customer service, compliance with HIPAA and OSHA, and continuing education. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, state or local dental assisting licensure or training, and x-ray certification.
