Description

Jabil is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement efficient production methods and process controls for new and existing assembly operations. This hands-on role involves monitoring assembly processes, troubleshooting issues, driving quality improvements, and serving as a technical expert on various manufacturing projects. The engineer will introduce new technologies and establish sustainable processes to ensure profitability, efficiency, adaptability, responsiveness, and high-quality product outcomes through continuous improvement initiatives.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Proven experience in a manufacturing setting working with liquid-cooled technology, ideally involving computer/server hardware or data center cooling systems.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with advanced liquid cooling technologies (design, operation, or maintenance of liquid-cooled systems in electronics or related applications).
Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt / Black Belt) or formal training in Lean Manufacturing principles.
Experience with 3D CAD modeling tools (SolidWorks) for designing fixtures, layouts, or process equipment modifications.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management standards and related regulatory compliance requirements in a manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), especially as they relate to monitoring environmental controls and production processes.
